We all know south American drug lords have people surgically altered to be drug mules - or can have people swallow baggies of cocaine to sneak into America.

Would it be possible, or logical to assume terrorists could have their bodies surgicaly altered - perhaps their underarms or belly fat, to carry blocks of C4 or another powerful explosive?

If they had a block of c4 implanted under their skin, and ran a fuse out that looked like hair, I doubt anyone would be able to detect it. Airport security has new devices that "sniff" for explosives but if the explosive was under the skin... I think the device might miss it.

They could sit next to the window, blow themselves up, bring the plane down and nt even feel a thing.

Their ideas will never end until we eliminate all of them. Unfortunately, I can not discuss what some of the Al Queda training documents revealed we found in Afghanistan, but I am surprised that the officals finally realized they can use liquids and gels, they knew this after 9/11. Just think if a toothpaste was filled with Semtex and not toothpaste????

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. Airport security and airport screeners are some of the lowest paid airport employees.
It is also unfortunate that it is very hard to stop a zealot. If they are willing to die for their cause, they usually are unstoppable. However, the damage can be contained -- IF you are willing to risk public outrage.
