will china run out of women?
they keep sending girl babys for adoption to the US.
no male babys.
in china they do not respect the women babys.

I heard that there is a 10 - 1 male to women ration now.
what will they do for wives?

China is paying for the crime of killing its own daughters and not protecting them.

In a census conducted in the 1990's, a study done indicated that only 48.5% of the population were women. This has led to a shortfall in marriageable women for China's aging male population to the tune of 15%.

Only now is China trying to correct its horrific treatment of girls in its society. Although India now is doing the exact same thing.

You are absolutely correct--there is a big shortage of women coming in China. Every family is only allowed one baby, so often they abort females. If you can only have one child, parents usually want to have a son. This is resulting in young Chinese men going outside the Country for wives. The idea is population control. However when most families opt for a son, this population control method does not work. Girls here's your chance. Take a flight to China (one way will do).

Yes, they keep aborting the female fetuses and abandoning or killing female babies because of the cultural leaning towards wanting sons. The LUCKY girls get taken to an orphanage to be adopted.

I didn't hear the ratio was THAT extreme, I heard it was 3 to 1, but yes it's not proportionate.

Maybe Chinese men who want to get married will have to travel abroad to meet someone. Countries' borders are not so much of an obstacle anymore.

Your right I seen that report on some news program. they only want sons because, the son has the responsibility of taking care of the parents in their old age, that's one reason they get rid of girls, and they can only have one child, now I think they are trying to change that. But its true they don't have enough women for men to marry, so this generation of young men are out of luck unless they go outside the country.

That's very interesting. I had heard something about that before but I didn't know if it was true or not. I had even heard that female babies were sometimes killed. I certainly hope that isn't the case. Thank you for posting this. I wish you had a link. I would like to read more about this.

Never, Because this is the condition in past in many countries. But there is no short of women in any country. I hope this will not be the first country to run out of women :)
