On occasion I do, yeah, but only certain cereals seem to work for that purpose [*]. Too many of them out there end up either being too hard and dry or end up being too sweet and going to mush even *without* the milk....

Finding a good milk-and-cereal bar is a good alternative but pricey. You pay a premium for being a neat-freak in this case, since you just end up with less mess (but better portion control).

But yeah, every once in a while, assuming a box of cereal isn't *too* freaking expensive, I do get the munchies with that.

Sometimes, especially if it is a sugared cereal (or if I forgot to get milk the day before).

Beer in cereal is a taste sensation, too.

Yes. I like any sweet cereal dry, but my favorite is Cap'n Crunch. I keep a bag of it on my desk and snack throughout the day. This stuff is addictive.

Applejacks taste better without milk. Frosted Flakes are good with or without milk. Cookie Crisp as a snack - no milk.

Yeah. I'm allergic to milk. I know there's stuff now, so I can drink it, but I've eaten dry cereal my whole life, and I'm used to it.

Absolutely. A lot of cereals provide protein and whole grains, and are an excellent source of nutrition and are a good substitute for nutrition-poor snacks, and just plain taste good all by themselves. You can take a zip-lock bag along with you to have anytime you're hungry.
