NO...my best guy friend used to crash at my place 2 nights a week for 4 months to attend his last 2 college courses after he had moved 100 miles away. His girlfriend at the time, who he is now married to and whom I had not even met at that time, told me she never worried because, if it's an "old" friend...if something was going to happen, it already would have. I think she was really wise when she said "you gotta worry about the NEW friends, not the old ones." Nothing ever happened between my friend and I and we are still good friends...nothing more, and I'm good friends with his now wife as well. However, you have to trust your b/g friend as well. If you can't, that may be a sign of bigger problems in your relationship.

Yeah that's a huge red flag, more of a red alarm.
Ask your partner how it would be if you choose to do the same thing? That will usually get the ball rolling for a conversation, but the critical part is to talk to them about it, in a very calm but serious way. Doing that should hopefully either eleviate your fears, or confirm them. But talk to you partner and come up with basic ground rules for what is acceptable and what isn't when dealing with friends of the opposite sex.

I would, because there is a possiblity of something happening, plus you know how guys are, lol, if they can they will, not that I would but most guys in general. Its not that we are insecure about ourselves, its just that physically its a possibility that they can have sex and its ok to worry, that makes you no less stronger than the next person.

Not really.. it would depend on the circumstances and how much I trusted by boyfriend, I have male friends who could spend the night here and believe me NOTHING would happen.

I defiantly would! and when they were questioned by you about it, they would lie and deny that anything happend... its hard to tell whether it did or not... but why would an old "friend" of the opposite sex spend the night anyways?!?!?

Hell yeah I'd have doubts.
I'd have words to say also
Whats the purpose of staying over, will you be staying too?
When did she know him? If she has known him for a long time then its not so bad but if she has known him recently then I'd be pizzed

Most certainly.
Now girls can have guys sleep over cause we're picky. We don't just jump on any guy that comes along.
But if a guy has a girl sleep over more than likely he wants to have sex.
Most guys always want to have sex doesn't really matter if shes short, tall, fat, skinny, bald, ugly, cankles, cause who's he gonna tell?
& whos gonna believe ugly?

I would. If I was you I would offer to put the friend up at your play instead of your lover's.
