I have been turned down many times for dating and after feeling bad about it at first I found the cure for this was to ask out girls that were better looking until some said yes. It is an effective strategy and although I do get turned down often, you never see me with a girl that isn't 8+. And let me tell ya in no way whatsoever am I 8+, nudge, nudge, wink wink. So my answer is I feel fine because I know it could always be the next one who says yes. And she'll be an 8+.

I had a nasty "grapes are sour anyway" attitude and decided it wasn't worth the trouble. That phase lasted a week, during which I was in an extremely foul mood and screamed at people at the slightest provocation. I eventually got over it, simply by realizing that atleast I was brave enough to ask, and I would've been going stir-crazy if I didn't eventually get it over and done with.

Get over it... Move on... Find someone else that WANTS to be with you...
Suppose someone asked you out and you didn't want to be with them...? Try looking at it from the other's point of view... It doesn't mean that you're unattractive, boring, stupid, or whatever... It just simply means that the other is NOT attracted to you, so why go through all the trouble of going out on a date, going out on other dates that you'll doubtlessly ask for just to find out at the end of it all, that she's not interested in you at all...?

If I ever turn down a person, I'll have a pretty good reason not to grieve over it.

I haven't been yet and I hope not. If you are turned down, I suggest that you get over it and find another person who would appreciate you for who you are.

Not the first or last person this has happened to, and then you move on. You find another person, a hobby, something.
