My dog only threw up once, but his eyes are almost swollen shut. The right side of his mouth is also swollen, and he has bumps all over his body. Is this something serious? My parents are out of town until Sunday, and I don't have a car to take him to the vet.

I agree with everyone else it sounds like an allergic reaction and with the bumps like perhaps he got into a bee's nest. Happened to a dog of mine many years ago. I pulled out the stingers that I could with tweezers. He didn't have a horrible allergic reaction tho. When my ferret had an allergic reaction to a Fervac distemper shot it was suggested to me to give him benadryl. Benadryl is ok for dogs as well, so if you have any childrens benadryl you may give him a little bit and that may help until you can get him to a vet. Depending on the size of the dog if it's small only give him a few drops and see if that helps. For a larger dog, say a lab, try a teaspoon. Or call your vet and see what he says. Tell him you can't make it in but you want to make the dog comfortable until you can.

Sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Try giving him some liquid children benadryl (1/2 cc per pound). So a 10 lb dog gets 5 cc.

You need to call your vet right now!!!! This is very serious...sounds like a severe allergic reaction (possibly a bee sting?) or reaction to a toxin. And it will likely kill him if you don't get this treated right now. Your vet may be able to tell you something to do for him, but may need to see him right away. You've got to find a way to get to the vet...neighbor, friend, family member, taxi...whatever you need to do...get him there now!!!

Call a taxi and take him to a vet, it sounds like he is suffering from some type of allergic reaction.

By the way how would you feel if you were going through the same thing but your parents didnt take you to the doctor??

Your dog probably got into something that is poisionus to animals like a cleaner or something, You need to give him a bath every day and wash out his eys several time a day and I suggest you give him ibprofen to help the swelling. or motrin.
