I love blond hair and think its beautiful, but I would never dye my dark brown hair that color. Its seems that the majority of girls that I go to school with are fake blonds. I can tell this because their roots show. Why is this happening? Is it because society portrays blond hair as the prettiest? It is very pretty, but other colors are also.
lol, this question isn't of dire importance or anything but just something I was just curious about...thanks!

i think its because a lot of stars are blond and skinny and a lot of girls want to be like them, so they dye their hair in order to look like them

lol Beats me, I would never dye my brown hair that color anyway. When I was younger, (as in, 10...lol), I remember thinking "Oh, I should be spontaneous and dye my hair blonde!!".
But I'd never do that now. I love my natural color and I've only ever got "caramel" (yeah right! Those always come out looking blonde) streaks/foils/highlights ONCE and they're pretty much gone now.
I happen to think brown is sexier and more attractive, maybe not to some people, and I probably think this because that's my hair color lol. I find blonde signifies trashiness sometimes...not to be rude or judgemental.
I guess the stereotype that blondes have more fun, or guys attract more to blondes than women with other hair colors actually gets to people. You don't see as many blondes dying their hair brown as you see brunettes dying their hair blonde.

I have hair the color of dark golden honey, and it's my natural color. I sometimes love it, sometimes hate it. I used to color it practically platinum, but it ruined my hair and I wouldn't do it ever again. If I really had my wish, I'd have natural black hair. I just love the color, the glossiness, the silky-looking texture of it. As far as society, I think most artificial hair color is ugly; I think any natural shade: blonde, brown, black, red...if it's well taken care of...is most beautiful.

blonds might seem more noticable but i know a lot of bonds or light haired girls who dye their hair brown or dark. its mostly media probably that makes them go blond and also their friends. but ahving brown hair can be much better as it looks healthier and u r not being called dumb blond.

People like blonde hair. People want blonde hair. So, people bleach their hair blonde. I don't get it either because it's very high maintenance. I'm happy to be a mousy brown.

I am a blonde and I think brown hair is so pretty...it always looks healthier...People are just fake sometimes, I guess.

becuz guys are more attracted to blondes becuz society has it tht blondes are stupid and will do ANYTHING, others just bleach their hair to get th attention ... which is dumb cuz, its likely tht they gonna get used :) well...w/e
