How many of you would go to a bar or a lounge BY YOURSELF in order to meet single males/females. If so, would you go to a resort or on a cruise alone as well? My friends and I are wondering what most of you think about this.

of course...i do that all the time and that´s how i met all of my ex bfs ...and besides that if you dont have a partner to go on a cruise you can do it on your own! why stay at home if you have the money to go? maybe you can find someone interesting
of course is better to go out with friends but you cannot saty at home if you dont have anyone to go out with

If I were single I would go into a bar alone but only because I'm a social kind of person. I however would not go on a cruise alone. I know that sounds pretty lame but if I don't luck out and meet some one interesting then I can always go home to my nice warm bed and be depressed in the comfort of my own house.

It depends on the club. I'm from Oklahoma and when I was in college there...I would go to clubs/bars by myself all the time...I was bound to run into someone I knew anyway...and by the end of 2 degrees...I was a "regular" at a couple of places anyway. I did meet lots of people there...but I'm not a "one night stand" kind of person...so I didn't "meet" them that way, but I made some great friends and did wind up dating a couple of people I met "out". Now I live between LA and San Diego...I NEVER go to the clubs here alone! I have gone to resorts alone (mosly to Vegas and Jamacia)...but not to meet people, just to relax or to attend conferences and the like. I think being a solo explorer is great and you meet fun people...but, as a female, I'm always conscience about SAFETY. BE SMART, but don't miss out on all the great things and places that life has to offer just because everyone else is too busy being lazy. There is more to life than American Idol and blogging! (that's why they invented Tivo:-)

i've gone out to sports bars and lounges alone, i think women shouldnt go alone (personal opinion) i personally wouldn't do a cruise or resort alone unless it was short. 1 day or 2 most people there are in couples. what you see in movies is rare.

I would and have gone to a bar or lounge by myself. I would definitely go on a cruise alone but only if it was a specialized cruise for singles.

I wouldn't go to bars or cruises alone to meet guys. I always had the best luck meeting guys through friends. There always seemed to be new single guys someone new.

I used to go to bars and clubs by myself all the time, simply because my friends didn't want to go or were on probation or something. I have found that when your with a group of friends in a club you usually attract more attention, and girls judge you by what kind of friends you have with you. If your alone they probably think your some kind of lonely loser, and most women wouldn't talk to me when I was alone. When I was in the military and would go out with my platoon I had no problem hooking up.

I would not do any of the above. There are so many dangers in the world today and it's always better to NOT GO ALONE. There's a certain amount of safety in numbers and I'd take a couple friends along.

No way i'd drag my friends along too for support and you'll actually look like you have friends if your seen with them and not a loner. You would also be a lot more confident if you were with your friends too so guys will find that attractive, if you're on your own then blokes might think you have sumthing wrong with you if you have no one to share time with. haha i wouldn't think it but you never know what other ppl think. I just couldn't sit on my own or drink on my own in a bar, i'd think everyone was feeling sorry for me and i'd end up getting wrecked and making a complete tit out of myself!

sorry man it is not a good choice to go to club or cruises by urself it is weird and don't think that will make u feel happy nd being with friends is much better than being alone to hang and to hook up with girls so alone answer is no cos it'll show to others u r desperate to get a person attention but with group it'll be not that much hope that helps:)
