I've dated a lot of men that look good, but not just because they look good. I know we all try to be nice and say looks don't matter, but I am here to tell you different. In my senior year of high school, I had met this guy that was ugly. I mean seriously ugly. However, he was the nicest person you can ever imagine. So. I decided I wasn't going to judge him on his looks. We dated for a couple of months with just hugs no kisses. One he decided to take me to school in the morning so when we pulled up in front of my school I was eating my orange and before I got out the car he asked if he could have a kiss that morning. My stomach started bubbling I swear. So, I was like ok and I was going to give him just a peck on the lips. After I gave him that kiss and got out the car, no lie, I started gagging. I couldn't eat the rest of my orange. At least I try to date someone less desirable. I'll try anything once.

Do you doubt that? A lot of people base their relationship on how the other person looks. Especially us guys, since we're very visual in the way how we choose our partners.

I doubt that I would date someone just because her looks, but sometimes you take time to identify your partner negative side.

Life is like flowing water, it comes - it goes. Just because a m/f looks great, doesn't mean they are...Many people unfortunately seek out the beautiful, handsome, good looking, skinny people. But now wait-"Is she/he got a wonderful innerself? " Does he/she have a great personality, does he/she have the same feelings in areas you do? such as does he/she match my interests? Just because he/she is a little overweight, does not mean their bad. Looks are decieving in many. Think, feel, seek, search, for their innerselfs beauty, seek what is in the heart, not the body...Seek out the interests you have and answer this question-" Does she/he match up to my own innerself?" Just because one is ugly or not athletic, does not mean they are cruel, beligerant, abusive, or bad inside. These are the things one must figure and find in their choices... Me? I know, been their, did that, done that....I will salvage looks before what is ones innerself.... That is the Key---the innerself....:) :)

Yes, and because of that im now learning not to always search for a looker. Maybe its time u go for someone who has a good look, but first discover their true personality.

yes in high school. Didnt work out though. I am an outgoing person and he was negative. My boyfriend now is good looking but smart he was really popular at our high school football player, homecoming king the whole 9. He is totally awesome but used to be the snob. Some snap out. Now he is so cool out going awesome. SO you can mold them. If they want to be molded. ALl depends.

Yes. I just told to just sit there and look good OK . He had a good personality, it was just someone Else's. Everything he said was either a song lyric,title, or a line in a movie. Once I finally caught on to this he didn't look that good after all. PHONY BOLOGNA.

Honestly no and I never will. They for me have to look better inside then outside. But if they fail in both areas forget it. Honestly people who naturally look good are for a reason. Probably because they look good inside as well. At least that's my experience so far. Especially with the Christian gals.

No I always avoided the good lloking ones as they always seemed to be in love with themselves and as you say personality nil. Mind you a lot of the ugly ones did too ..

Well, usually you'll date someone cause they're hot and then find out that they have a horrible personality, but you won't date them again.
