Have you ever had a good looking "other" that treated you bad? Or a "not so good looking other" that was very good to you but you were embarresed by their appearance? Which would you rather "settle down" with in the long run of growing old?

yes i have had both and i think the reason is that the good looking one feels over confident that they can have anyone so they treat u like they could care less, then the not so goodlooking one feels lucky to be with you so they treat you with respect. i would rather have someone that cared about me and respected me regardless of therir apperance, true, you need to be physically attracted but personality make or breaks apperance.

you have already known the answer from your question!""settle down" with in the long run of growing old!". The looks really don't matter. you plan to grow old (doesn't mean grow ugly though) and for long run, right?

if your with someone you think you love and you think looks hot, are you going to dump them if they got in a car crash and get disfigured? answer honestly and you will know if someones love of you is more important than bolstering your ego to impress others in your life.if your young and not serious, then its a learning experience. but never disrespect yourself by letting someone treat you bad all the time. everyone makes mistakes .its the ones that learn from them that end up happier and wiser

If you are embarrassed to be with someone who is good just because of the way they look, then they need to leave you for someone who is not selfish and superficial. And what happens when you decide on the good looking jerk, then lose your eyesight? What have you got then?

some one who respected me and loved me for who i am. not some one who only wanted me cause i look goodd with him. there is no realtionship or love if it is based on looks and not love.
