Of you live in the US, you have 72 hours to back out of the deal. Get off the computer and take it back now!!!

hi i'm afraid the rate is yours, no longer the sellers. devoid of wanting to state the obtrusive too blatantly, 1000 miles in the past, the brakes had 1000 miles of injury left in them, that's sufficient to pass an inspection, and is for this reason no longer a fault as such. Brake placed on isn't a warrantied commodity, it particularly is common placed on and tear. in spite of this, how approximately you ask as a sturdy will gesture that the broker circulate halfs with you on the restore or some such comparable deal, its have been given to be well worth a try? very suitable regards Geordie

1) No such thing as "72 hour refund law" on used cars. This law only applies if a salesman comes knocking on your door and you agree to buy encyclopaedias or a vacuum for example. Then you have 72 hours to back out of the deal.

2) Lemon laws only apply to new cars.

3) If on the window it said "As Is" then you have no warranty.

I would call them and explain what happened. Don't yell or be rude. Remember, they are NOT obligated to do anything for you. But they may do so in the name of customer service.

But before you call, change the transmission fluid. My car's transmission used to slip a lot but stopped as soon as I put some fresh fluid in it.

Some places you have like about a week or so to take the car back, and tell them what is going on. Some real dealerships will be curtious and nice to get it fixed for you, as it is a politcal thing for them to be wanting your business still. I had a different situation, on a truck I had bought. I had tried to use the cruise control, but it didn't work. Ended up the vacuum control to hold the throttle was broken. I took it to where I bought it from, and they refered me to the dealership that works on them kinds and there was no trouble at all. Had done this within 1 week of purchasing it. Hope this helps some.

Your stuck. Sorry to hear that!

Some doink will probably post something about lemon laws. They only apply to NEW vehicles still under the manufacturer's warranty. None of them apply to used sales.

And some moron will probably say that you have 72 hours to back out of the deal or some such idiocy. There are NO such laws in any state in the union! CA tried it a few years ago and met with extreme resistance from the car dealers; it was dropped from the bill at the last minute.

You had to have gotten a written warranty at the time you bought the car.

You should be protected by what is called the "Lemon Law." Begin documenting EVERYTHING you do and everyone you speak to. Contact the dealer today.

You should have a 30 day or 90 day automatic warranty. I'd say take it back.
