Perhaps my history books need updating. Where can I find evidence of the pre-Christian Celts who did not believe in anger, hostility, and lots of arguments and fights? I don't understand why they would've had armor, swords, and battle goddesses before the advent of Christianity. Same question of the Norse. Was Thor's hammer just for decoration? Have we been lied to about Mars and Ares? Were they always peaceful and loving deities until Christianity was introduced?
There are plenty of Wiccan groups that are not filled with anger and debates do not need to turn into arguments or fighting. But I do not know of any pagan groups where all of the members are always peaceful and loving--nor do I know of any who do not disagree at times. They are not gods. They are simply doing the best that they can to worship their deities and be better people. The vast majority of pagans that I know seem peaceful and loving, but I don't watch every move they make to judge them for their actions.

Plenty of Wiccan and Witch groups are peaceful and loving... but they're not generally open to strangers. The ones open to the general public are prone to all the tensions that happen by having strangers with different religious beliefs try to work together in a very intimate setting.
The group that's been meeting at my house weekly for over two years is very loving and peaceful. There are four of us... about to become five.
The most supportive, loving and kind pagan groups I know are *small*--generally no more than 8 people. There's a reason traditional covens were limited to 13. If you want to find a group that sincerely practices Perfect Love and Perfect Trust, look for something that doesn't advertise, doesn't accept anyone who comes along, doesn't try to convert people.

Wiccans practice "Perfect Love" and "Perfect Trust." The Prince of Peace is quite another thing. If you are Wiccan then you know that our code of behavior is, "Do what you will. Harm none." Peace, in the classic sense of it, is not the goal. "Balance" is.
Google The Wiccan Church of Canada. They will be of great assistance in helping you find people of like mind and practice.

In every group of people, there will be loser, jerks and snobs. The good people are out there, right now is when most Pagan communities have thier Pagan Pride events, see if there is one in your area and meet some people.

My friend had this problem... which ultimately ended in her converting back to Christianity when she found a church that had a good social scene (country churches are awesome).
I've known of some disorganized groups of "friends" who agreed and practiced it without bad drama... but that's it.
Good luck :-)

You just have to look.
I found some really great guilds on gaiaonline...look up Winter-san if you ever go by there, and look on my profile for my guilds. ^_^ You can learn a lot from them, and perhaps they can help. ^_^

Not to be offensive, but...
Try looking up some other religions first before you start dabbling with magic of all things.
Look at Islam. Or Christianity. Or something - but not Wicca...
Islam is the most peaceful and loving religion of all.

Why do you slander people of faith and then go on about your peace and love, pretty two faced isn't it.
