I believe God makes special accomodations for these people. If they have never had the ability to understand and retain what they have heard, I believe they are innocent as babes.

I would argue against any 2nd chance after death for people because God is all powerful and can speak to people in many ways. He knows ever man's heart (Proverbs 24:12) and He desires that everyone be saved. We can take assurance that God is just and has a just plan for young children who die as well as the mentally handicap. When Jesus came to Earth, who did he heal? It was the blind, the deaf, the demon-possessed and all types of ill people. The mentally handicap - Jesus saves even such as these. He knows every man's heart. God Bless!

Romans 1:20 says that no one is without excuse, that would include mentally handicapped ppl. I trust that God will provide a way for them to understand Him and believe in Him. I think that God gives everyone at least one chance to know Him, and most likely several, since He wants everyone to follow Him.

We just have to trust that the Lord is just and merciful and everyone that goes to hell, whether for taking a cookie, sassing their parents, thinking bad thoughts, serial killing, making the mistake of being born in a non-Christian country or without the ability to comprehend that they need to kiss butt on Jesus, will go to hell.

Jesus healed the blind man because the blind man represented the power of God.
Those with mental illness live under the exact guidelines - even though a manic spree receives no blessing from God. A repentant manic person who receives help allows the bipolar disorder to be manifest as power of God.

How can anyone be held responsible for a condition they have been born with. The only guilt belongs to the sick god that created them that way. The sinner here is the fool who believes such blatant rubbish.

Don't worry God is just and fair, everyone will have the opportunity, even those who died without ever hearing of Jesus will have the gospel taught to them in the afterlife, everyone makes a free will choice.

Why don't you just get a life? Concentrate on being a good person and following the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments and leave others alone.
