Bad luck really does seem to come in "bunches" sometimes. I had my only car accident ever about a year ago. My rental car was stolen while my car was in the shop. Never had a car stolen before or since.

The odds aren't very likely. Someone I know once got in three accidents in two weeks. he was so mad at the last guy who rear ended him he chased him off the highway, throughout the city and back onto the highway again, where the guy finally crashed, and stopped. That was the end of HIS bad luck

Well you say that these wrecks are not your husband’s fault, but they are not completely the other person’s fault. I'm sure you husband could drive more defensively. I could probably get in a wreck every 2 wreaks or so if I wanted to.

my mom's brand new car was vandalized one night. The next day, as I was cleaning out the broken glass, some idiot rear-ended the car. It was parked at the curb, out of traffic lanes. Messed up my knee, and the idiot asked for directions to a garage sale.

BTDT. Two cars in three hours! In the first one, some idiot turned left from the right lane right in front of me. In the second one, my old driving instructor ran a stop sign and I CREAMED him!

its called 'defensive driving' ... i always anticipate the moves of others, and instead of accidents i have near misses... your husband should try it sometime
