Almost 100%. I am sorry if you or someone you love has it, but the fact is that they need to make final preparations soon.

Yep it is. My father had pancreatic cancer. He was told by his doctor that he wouldn't live more than 3 months but he did, and lived 19 more months. He also had many complications due to chemotherapy. His tumor couldn't be removed due to the fact that it was too close to a major blood vessel. He finally died on Nov. 22 2003

Unfortunately by the time pancreatic cancer is discovered, there's less than 10% chance of survival.

The median survival of patients with this disease is 3 to 4 months, and the 5-year survival rate is only 3%.
It still depends on how early they catch the symptoms. Part of the reason the stats are so grim is because the symptoms are not really noticeable and people let the problem go to long.

It is a bad cancer. A patient is not terminal until his heart and lungs start to go.

No! There is a hospital in Denver specializing inthis condition. It definetly is poor diagnosis but they are using PET/CT and ablation to get accurate staging and monitoring of progress of disease. Also, there are a few trials going on.
