Take a snall sample to experiment on so as not to ruin the whole lot. To this try adding small amounts of sugar, mixing in and trying. The sweetness counteracts the chilli heat. If you get to a flavour you like that is not too hot or too sweet do the same process to the main batch of stuff. (I have saved a few curries and chilli con carnis this way in the past.

Slice some cheese and serve with the salsa. Or add it to the salsa. Cheese has an ingredient that cancels out the heat in your mouth. Drinking milk works, too.

You can't put to much of one thing in so try a little vinegar, a little salt and a little white sugar together and add to taste then (cause that only works to an Extent) some more tomato puree and simmer a bit longer and a little cornflour water mix but not to much that it thickens it too much.
P.s. SORRY I GOT IT CONFUSED WITH CHILLI CON CARNE FOR A SECOND, JUST VINEGAR AND SUGAR AND SALT IN SMALL QUANTITIES(mostly vinegar),More Chopped Tomatoes If You Have Them. ALL DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU OVERLOADED IT. YOU CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH .
AFTER ADDING THE CORRECTORS, AND IF YOU CAN, LEAVE IT OVER NIGHT AND THIS WILL WORK ALOT MORE.

As different reviewers indicated, added tomatoes may be efficient. you additionally can turn in to a dip via including some bitter cream ( conventional, low fat or no fat) to the salsa. The bitter cream will tone it down notably.

sugar can tone down too much heat. Add just a little at a time, and you might need to add some salt once you've controlled the heat.

Don't know what made it hot..two simple ways to "tone" down. 1. put more of the "other" stuff in..2.a LITTLE bit of sugar also works, when you put sugar in, stir and then put 1 whole piece of white bread and let it soak..remove bread and taste

Can you add more diced tomatoes to balance it out? You might add some other 'sweet' things to it, like kernal corn, black beans, even finely diced cucumbers, to cut the heat.
