i think there is a kit that you can make bubblegum at home, they give you a packet of powdered flavoring, (like mint, or fruit flavors) that you mix in. maybe i'll try and add cocoa powder instead and see how it works.

Hi, I am 42yrs old. I remember as a kid eating believe it or not chocolate flavored bubble gum and gum. As a kid we thought it was a great thing. But, thinking back on it now , it wasn't such a great taste. With today's food technology, they might be able to tweak it and put it back on the market. They came out with it when I was like 8 or 9 so you do the math find how many years ago that was. LOL So that is the reason I can't remember the name of the company that came out with it.

I don't know because as many chocoholics as there are in the world it would probably be a good seller, if it were actually good. Maybe because gum is suppose to be minty.
Does anyone remember about 16 years ago when someone came out with chocolate flavored cigarettes?

Its been achieved. interior the 60's. no longer a enterprise. bitter aftertaste. besides, with all the chocolate to compete with, why? don't have licorice flavored gum the two. in all likelihood for an identical reason.

not a bad idea. I'd give it a try,. of course, artificial chocolate flavoring has NOTHING on good old fashioned chocolate, but it never hurts to try

It's been done. There was a company in the early 80s that made some, but I don't remember what company it was. It wasn't very good.

It has been on the market, but many many years ago. It just didn't make the grade with consumers. But it sounds like a good idea to me.

I think it sounds like a horrible idea. It would be hard to recreate a good chocolate taste using chemicals.

In my opinion that sounds disgusting. But, I could see how someone would like it. There probably is something like it out there, but it is probably hard to create so many gum makers scrap the idea.
