He neither created nor discovered electricity. He merely demonstrated (through the kite experiment) that lightning and electricity are the same thing.

First, Ben Franklin didn't CREATE it... he DISCOVERED it.

All he did was flew a kite into a thunder cloud and experienced it first hand. That was DC. He did not create any electricity of any kind whatsoever.

He had a fight with his girlfriend and she threw him out. He was really mad and irrational so he decided to mail the key to her house to God. So he put the key on a kite. But God didn't want it and blasted him so all the hair on the top of his head fell out.

He discovered that electrical current could flow tru lines . Haven't you heard the story about him outside in storm with a kite, & a key ? He found out the electrical current can flow tru conduits, & the kite experiment proved it. He was so excitted, he got a charge out of it, ha.
