Trust me its awkward at first but after about 3 min of being uncomfortable it gets easier.I met an online friend and we been chattin for 2 yrs now.

Tell her it's nice to finally "meet" her. Make sure you sound nice, funny, & interested in what she has to say. If you really like this girl & want to get to know her better avoid controverial subjects like religion & politics until you know her well enough to agree to disagree.
