Do men really want another person looking at them?

2006-08-26 06:04:48 · 17 answers · asked by Patty 4 in Society & Culture Etiquette

The ladies room was backed up around the corner and a man offered to let some of the women use the Men's room. They offered to stand guard outside so noone would come in on us. I will say this for you guys, it's much cleaner than the womens.

Because I don't think men care one way or the other. They just go in and do their business and leave. Besides I think they want to show themselves off. I mean look how much bigger I am than you. Maybe.

Urinal Dividers

Because if they don't it is usually only like two there and isn't a high traffic restroom. So you cut a few dollars and don't put them in, but have room so the divider COULD be added. Most men don't want someone looking anymore then they look. So we rarely would notice if somone was. Also Men's room etiquette says you always leave an empty stall or urinal between you and the next guy, unless it is that great of an emergancy and you have no choice.

Why are YOU worried about urinals? They are made especially for men, because guys can handle their business without any barriers (usually). Some guys (especially at sports events) even chat while they are doing their urinal business.

If you think urinals are bad, wait until you can get to France, Spain, Turkey etc...where the TOILETs (not to mention urinals) are sometimes HOLES IN THE FLOOR!!! Yes, that is what I thought you would think...

I suspect they are less self conscious than women.

At the health club, the women's showers are individual with doors. I hear the mens are just showers heads along a wall in an open room!

I recall seeing urinals with some sort of dividers, but the vast majority of them doesn't have them.
I think that the reason why they don't usually have dividers is that it's supposed that the one urinating just minds his own business and doesn't keep turning to see his neighbor. It 's rare to see men watching purposefully another guy micturating, but there might be weirdos who do it.

Mary, Mary, Mary. Where have you been all your life. Men love to show off and to compare. It goes back to when they were little boys, and they never seem to outgrow it. Women like privacy, men don't. Simple as that.
PS - have you been peeking in urinals? Tsk tsk!

To see if you measure up to the competition in the bar.

That way you can plan a strategy and work towards your advantages.

"Yeah, baby,... he's got more money than me, aaannd he's more handsome. But he's only working with 3 inches... I've got 8!"

 :-)
