Is it better to walk before the evening meal, or after. Is walking any good for a beer belly.

Walking before and after is good, just make sure you give your tummy time to digest a bit, say an hour.

If the beer belly is from beer, best to lay off the beer. Walking is good for the entire body. Do it no less than 20 minutes per day and build up to more time as you are able.

Also, eat healthy. Make sure you are limiting fats, eat more fiber, no sodas, alcohol or fried foods. Make sure you get lots of veggies and fruits too. Snacks can be healthy like a handful of almonds, an apple, etc.

Beer belly stop drinking beer do tummy exercises sit ups scunchies and for a six pack (when you get there get someone to drop a medicine ball on your tummy 2 hours power walking really depends what you want to achieve try a gym session you can power walk jog etc and see what calories you burn for a general fitness session try an athletics track power walk 400 Mt's jog 400 Mt's sprint 100 walk 100, sprint 100 walk 100 etc use a simple heart rate monitor to make sure you work within your limits

It is not good to walk after having a big meal like supper. The blood rushes to your stomach to assist with the digestion, and therefore, the rest of your body if overly exerted will not have the blood flow needed. I'd suggest walking BEFORE the evening meal. And, yes, a beer belly will get smaller from walking. Of course, it would get even smaller if you cut back or stopped drinking beer.

Walking is good at any time.
I enjoy walking after a meal to help settle my stomach.

Walking is good for the heart, for burning calories, for circulation, for lots of things.

And while it may help the beer belly by buring calories you will still need to do some other exercise to tone your stomach muscles; such as crunches.

Walk before and you will get the benefit of reduced appetite. You have to walk fast enough to perspire for this to happen.

I would think after so you burn the calories at you just ate if you do it before then you would be wasting your time.
