Are you calling me stupid? Is that it? Because you're too scared to admit I know what you're thinking?
Why are you calling me stupid? I know you have an agenda that you're just working towards? If I didn't see that I'd be blind. You're just trying to hide it by saying all of this
You're frickin condescending and a liar and I'm sick of it!
Yeah, I don't know why people assume they know where you're coming from either. It can be funny, but it really sucks when that means people don't answer your question.

Try to explain more in your questions. You won't get as many answers because most people are too lazy to read. But the answers that you do get might better suit your question.
I asked a question this morning and I have only had 4 answers so far. The first one was quirky (still funny though) and the other three actually tried. I still haven't got an answer that suits my question. But at least I kept down the blasts.

Sometimes the word choices or the phrases used by the questioner, even the order in which questions are asked, suggest that the questioner has a platform, a preferred position, or even that the questioner is arguing for one side.
perhaps that is not true for your questions, but it is true of many questions in this category.

They want to attack you so they assume what you are and criticize it rather then answering the question you have asked. The asked question is usually one they cannot answer. I have been accused of being both an atheist and a Muslim in the same question!

same here - taking a consensus sometimes - and get that reaction
I do not agree with anyone "blasting" someone else - calling them names and such, or belittling their position/choices
I may ask why it makes difference to the person taking the consensus

Some of those people are insightful, some are paranoid. I learn a lot about the individual who states his/her assumptions about my motives, as I can certainly determine when their assumption is right or wrong.
If you consider it from that angle, you'll notice those who make wrong (malicious) assumptions don't tend to hang around here very long ;-)

So many knuckle Heads on this Q & A its difficult to discern when one is just being bated.
Try keeping the Q simple and short..That could help.

Some are merely using your question as a forum to express their opinions. They are not really interested in "your question". They are only interested in "their answer".
Some who ask questions are not really interested in answers either. They don't bother to vote for the "best answer".

imdumm2,
Once again we are supposed to answer a questions while not knowing the the asker is talking about.
Why, when you ask a question like this, don't you give an example?
I finally figured it out, laziness.
