Why is it so easy for me to date men that I meet online (and meet them in realtime), but so difficult to meet men locally? I am told constantly that "so and so" thinks you're cute or hott... well why are they afraid to approach me then? I am a very outgoing person... so why would I appear unapproachable? UGHHHHHH!
HELP!

I'm also on a dating web site. I've met some good ones and some bad ones, but it's always worth it. Last time I went to a bar I was so bored (and I'm never bored). Just the thought of going through the whole process of "Hi I'm phoenix. Are you single? Do you come here often? blah blah blah" seemed so tedious. I couldn't even be bothered to try or even have someone hit on me. Forget about "so and so who thinks you're cute." If they like you they should grow a sack and ask you out.

Men dont handle rejection well at all. Thus easier to start talking to someone through a key board than face to face. Gives time to think about the subject and answer to what one believes to be what the other wants to hear. Face to face does not allow for such. One can also be more or less truthful through a keyboard than in person. Not to say lie'n but leaving out certain parts. This applies to both genders regardless. Though I personally would think that with looks like yours that you are taken and would be hesitant to approach you, yet would none the less and see if things moved forward or I go down in a ball of flames.....lol.....I really dont see why you have a problem then im not in your shoes.....

Online you can be anything you want, and so can guys. This is both good and bad that's why it's easier, there is no pressure. That said, as for local guys. . . Girls I think we have finally hit a point where we are the ones who will have to take the initiative. The last two guys I've been out with I asked out and they both said later they were so happy I did, because they were to afraid I would reject them. So Girls take the initiative and guys enjoy the attention.

Man , im having the smae problem ! You are not alone . I have a very serious disposition and am quite tall . Men are intimidated by that . but i was told by a great person and firend of mine , if they want you , they will come and get you .
They are probably jsut as scard and intimidated as you are to go up to them.
Everyone , men and women ahve to give each other a break. just relax and have a good time . I always believed that guys always go for girls that are having a good time where they are.
