Delete the Windows ME partition. Put your Windows Setup disk in the PC and reboot. Then boot from the disk and delete the Windows ME partition.

ur quest is not very clear.
now there r two possibilities when u hav 2 choose b/w win xp and win me.
1.u have both OS installed on ur system , win xp and win me
2.u hav only one OS that is win xp , and still u have 2 choose b/w win xp and win me.
solutions:
case 1:format d partition in which windows me is installed. this can b done by: go to my computer->right click drive in which win me is installed->click format->click start.
case 2:right click "my computers" (should not b a short cut of my computers_->click properties->click advanced->click startup and recovery->click edit -> delete win me option completely.

just boot with boot disk or xp disk and delete and recreat the partition whre windows me was.

Go to the control panel-start-settings-control panel, click on add/remove programs, then when you see windows me, click the remove option, and it will remove windows me, from your computer..

go to uninstall/delete and delete it from your system. if you don't know what that is, go to my computer and find it, then delete it!
