These things will fade in time but our minds are created masterpieces- this is why it is VERY important that we are careful about what we expose ourselves to because it has long lasting effects. When I was a child, I was shown porn by my father- it took a long time for those images not to haunt me. I learned fast though to be discerning and cautious about what I expose myself to - that means cursing, sexual images, etc. I am very careful about what I expose myself to.
The first thing you should do is find someone you trust to be accountable to- to help you be discerning and pray for you for self control and wisdom that oyu do not expose yourself to anything further- Psalm 119:37
Then the process of cleansing your mind from these thought and images lies in #1 exposing yourself to the right things- read what God's word has to say about love and intimacy, and expose yourself to good things- when those images come to your thoughts, begin to think on scripture, and what is true and good-
2 Corinthians 10:5-6
Philippians 4:8
You have more self control over your thoughts than you think you do.
Do thse things and I promise you that when you find someone to spend your life with, you will have a lot more respect for her and your intimate life will be a lot more precious to both of you.

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet

1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog ,you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.

2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov

3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.

4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.

5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.

6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.

Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

You are wise to think about this now and to take control. The truth is that you will never be able to erase these images from your mind, but it is a good thing that you realize how harmful they are and that you are seeking to turn away from them.

I would take a look at this site for some tips on chastity:

Firstly, I think you are in the wrong section but nevertheless......

I guess that's every 16 years old secret fantasy (nope ..I want like you then) and you are getting addicted because you have not experienced the real thing yet.

The moralists will be screaming atthis suggestion but go out there and get a real experience (just be safe) and you realise that what you have been watching and getting addicted is just a current state of the mind which can make you a sicko if left unchecked.

The harder you try to push something out of your mind, the more it will stay with you and dominate your consciousness. It's like the old "whatever you do, don't think about elephants" type command when you are trying to meditate. Of course you won't be able to NOT think about elephants when following this.

Now, while I don't think porn is bad for oneself personally, I have found that the SAME porn images tend to lose their effectiveness when "used" over and over again, so that eventually I look for something "fresh". So my advice is, use your photographic (pornographic?) memory and masturbate to the images that you already looked at. Eventually they will lose their influence in your mind.

Of course, if you don't look at porn anymore, you will have to find something else to visualize. Will you be imagining someone that you actually know or have seen in your daily life? Because generally, the male mind at least naturally tends to supplement sensations with imagery. It is perfectly normal and natural, especially at your age to be doing this a lot.

As long as you are not causing harm to anyone else, STOP FEELING GUILTY. Well, there is always the women's fashion ads to drool over if nothing else works.

Though they will fade with time, they will be with you for the rest of your life. The best thing to do to help them fade is to concentrate on good, wholesome and beautiful things.
