No, you don't "need" a boyfriend. You sound desperate and needy. You have to have respect for yourself and stop thinking having a guy in your life is so important. It isn't. It's important you figure out what you want to do in your life. Are you a good student? Get the best education you can, go to college and do something good with your life.
