the point here you dip sticks is that there are plenty of jobs there to go around and if you choose to live in a small town whether its here or mexico then there will be no job, and the mexicans who live in those small towns can go to thier closest big city and get a job instead of illegally come here

You people are thick!! They don't have any money to commute, the buses they could commute in work when they want them to, even if there is a minimum wage set, it is not payed to them, they are told that if they want the job, they have to accept the pay, and that is if they find a job.
If they commuted to a big city, they would have to live there since there is no money for transportation back, so where and with what money would they live??
HOW IS IT THAT NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THAT ??

Additional Details:
You have to come to Mexico and see it for yourself. I'm not saying that they should move to the US, but you have to know about the poverty here. And stop saying that there ARE jobs and money when there are none. You can't just believe what peple tell you or what the statistics say. Even though there is money in Mexico, it is only in the hands of 15 to 20% of the population.

My husband was an illegal alien. He came here 10 years ago and we are currently working on getting his residency. I have lived in Mexico and where we were there were very little jobs. The only good jobs were in factories and you needed a high school diploma. Considering the fact that you don't have to go to school after the sixth grade there most people don't. My husband didn't because he went to work. He started off as a paper boy, then sold things by the street. Then his family had problems because his dad was abusive towards his mother so he moved to Jaurez. A man asked him if he wanted to go to the US and he was 19 with no money and selling corn and tacos for a living so he said sure. When we went back to Mexico almost everyone in the house was working. Two of them in a factory making 60 dollars (US) a week. His mom was cleaning houses making about the same. His baby brother was working for a man with a welding company making around 70 US dollars a week and my husband was doing houses making about 70 dollars also when they paid him right. I of course was not working. About after a month My sister-in-law quit her job because her children were sick and day care took half of her check. With the others working we lived ok even if we had to eat beans and eggs every night. We couldn't have done this if we had any other bills besides the water. The lights were rigged because the light bill there was almost 200 (US) dollars. The house was hers so she didn't pay rent. All we had to pay was for food and water. Then my husband ran out of work so things got worse. Then the lady stopped paying my mother-in-law and she was out of work. All I could say was I was thankful that I had people sending me money from over here to live over there. I could not have been happier when we finally were able to come over here. Commuting is not the problem it's the paying bills. They are more expensive in bigger cities. When they come here they have a place already set up and they don't have to pay until they get the money. Most people already have family over here and can just pay for someone to bring them here to live with their family instead of them having to worry about first finding a place to stay and having money saved up to eat and live off of before they find a job. Waitresses (not all make a lot)make more than that if you include their tips which you are supposed to do any way because you are being paid in cash for your services and that money is also supposed to be reported for when you file your taxes.

How do you expect them to travel that far everyday? My sister in law is a doctor is Mexico, and she doesn't get to see her children because she works in Mexico City, her family is in Puebla. You can't expect everyone to do that. I'm sure your wife had the means of driving herself back and forth to work. Your not looking at the average Mexican citizen, your only seeing what you want to see. To keep up your argument you can look up all sorts of things, but until you have actually been in that position you have no room to talk, criticize, and pass judgment on others. That is not our place to do so, only one person has the right to judge and honey as much as you think you know you ARE NOT that person.

not sure what the question is didn't really make since! the min wage may be set at 4.50 an hr. i doubt it though, in reality its 5:00 a day. the real wage stealers in america are the anti union fools, and companys that care more about increased profits then employes, the real wage stealers in america are republicans who just passed a law to cut that waitress in williams pay to two dollars,so they can pass on an estate tax to ther rich donors! wake up america!!! all the mexicans in america, can't do the damage one republican congress man can do to the american worker!but as long as we can keep blaming it on the mexicans! the real bad guys are smiling all the way to the bank!

What's your question? Are you saying the Mexicans in Williams, Arizona, should commute to Phoenix rather than taking jobs in Williams?

I know Williams, and it's a small town with limited jobs. Are you saying that Mexicans are taking jobs away from citizens? What's your point? Be more specific.

They face the same problems there as here in order to commute you have to have access to a way to commute.

Yea and you walked uphill both ways to school no shoes and in a snow storm.

Yes you are right ... there are actually plenty of jobs in Mexico, if you'd care to look for them ... I think it's good ole greed that's bringing people here, not poverty ... of course if you already have family here, it's easy to come over, settle down, not pay rent etc. until you get an illegal job ... much easier than having to travel to a job in Mexico ... and more lucrative ... still, I don't buy the "no jobs in Mexico, these people are starving" scenario ... for those of you who have been extensively to Mexico (and yes, I have too), let me tell you it's so much bullcrap ... it's greed, folks, pure greed ... and they get away with it ... at my and every other tax payer's expense ....
