No, he's saying that he doesn't want to miss out on all that college pu55y. And if he's with you he will feel guilty for cheating.

Honey, there is not a clear cut answer to this one. He may still love you yet he has stated he wants to have a break from you. Therefore, you must not linger waiting for him. Go out and date other people as you know he will. Yes, it hurts. I think we all can agree on that. Be mature and let him go for you can't make someone stay with you if they want a break. So, the best thing you can do right now is to go on with your life, make new friends, date, study hard and wait and see if he makes the first move towards you. I am sure when you go off to college you will find many exciting men to date as well. If your boyfriend and you are meant to be together always, then it shall happen in time. Now call up some girl friends and tell them you are "free" and to spread the word.

Obviously, college breaks up most relationships formed in high school, especially when one partner "goes away". He knows that there's going to be a lot of opportunity in college, a lot of parties, and a lot of dating, and I imagine he wants to partake in that. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you, but I do believe it means that you aren't going to be boyfriend/girlfriend any longer. Who knows, in 4 years he may not have found the right one, and you two might hook up again. Even if he tells you what you want to hear, it is doubtful that he'll be faithful, so it's best to accept it for what it is now. This gives you the opportunity to do some exploring yourself.

Mimi, your bf has realized that in college, he is bound to meet someone who can meet his needs in a different way than you can, he is growing up, and growing out of the boy he used to be. Accept that this move on his part, is just a thing where he thinks you will meet someone too, and then you'll forget that you were on a break with him and just move on and forget about the hurt.

It's a good decision for both of you to see other people while he's at college. Life will be different for both of you.

Obviously he doesn't love you. Neither does this relationship worth keeping anymore, for his heart has already flown to his college even before his departure.
Move on!

its not about love - its about your bf entering a new chapter in his life and he now wants the whole experience without promises of commitment - if you and he are meant to be - it will be - but he's moving on for now......
