Write a letter for yourself putting all of the things that you are upset about. I feel like it kinda gets all the anger/ hurt out. Then just say, Sorry, BUT, make sure that you don't add a BUT at the end.

SAY it, ADMIT your behavior was wrong (and be truthful), SHOW that you know what it did, and CHANGE your behavior patterns so that the thing you did that cause pain NEVER happens again. THAT is the best way to say "I'm Sorry". (Oh, and paying for all the damages you caused too -- which means being a RESPONSIBLE Adult about the situation).

As this is in the law enforcement and police section then I can only assume you want to say sorry to a police officer. If thats the case, then write a nice letter. We arent allowed to accept gifts of any kind.(or at least we arent supposed to!)If its to your girlfriend/boyfriend/lover then tell them face to face and pretend to mean it! If its to your mom, then a big bunch of flowers and a soppy card always does the trick.

Sorry for what? The apology must fit the offense you gave. It could be as simple as saying 'sorry' or as serious as committing Hari Kari or sepuku.

20yrs ago my mom lied in court to take my kids away,,one might ask why,,cuz she control freak she didnt like my boyfreind..she liked ordering me aroun at age 33,and still would if i let her.anyway her appology waS IM sorry that she took advice of lawyer..hahaha,,a lawyer will not advise you to lie so the appology was yet another lie,,i try not to hold a 20 resentment but it was her appolgy that i got 2 years ago that reinfested it

With sincerity in your apology, meaning you truly know what you did wrong, know that it is wrong and are taking steps/actions to make sure you don't repeat the wrong behavior.
