Federal officials must enforce immigration laws
Saturday, August 26, 2006
People who immigrate to this country should do so legally.
The federal government clearly has failed to enforce immigration rules. Yet, it would be a mistake for municipalities to usurp that authority and impose a jumble of laws across this nation that could inflame prejudices and result in discrimination against legal and illegal immigrants.

They're breaking our laws in the first place
They need to be arrested and deported for breaking the law.
They need not have a reason to come to this country. So close off welfare and other community services to them.

No money/jobs...no reason to come/take risk.
