I met these two guys, on different occasions, that were interested in me. When the conversation got into whether or not they had girlfriends or were married they both said that they were involved with women (one was married and the other has a serious girlfriend) and didn't have any real problems in their relationships. The just "liked what they saw" and decided to pursuit. My question is what the hell is that all about? I understand that neither one of them had to tell me about their relationships but, it scares me that a man could be happy in a relationship and still cheat. I didn't pursuit a relationship with either guy but, the fact that, if I wanted to go on they would have scares me to death. It scares me because I've always thought of myself as being a really supportive woman (not a doormat) but someone who is a good girlfriend and to think that that doesn't matter to some people (I know it's not just men) makes me a little nervous about what is going on these days.

P.S. I know that men ARE NOT the only one's who do this, but, I only date men, so it's just perspective.

Most men are pigs, not all men but most. I think it's because they want to feel like "they still got what it takes" It's a macho thing, something us women will never understand so stop giving yourself a headache by trying to figure it out...life is to short.

I won't say that you are naive, but only too under exposed.

The men are merely hitting on you and obviously looking for only a fun time. This is common among men (most men),married or not. Cheating or not,it really depends on how you look at it.

Over here, there is a saying from some married women to their men - You could drink your milk outside, but don't you dare drag the whole cow back home.

Men like a challange, and a challange to them could be to see if they could pick a you up. men are so different from what they used to be. Be careful and you will find a great guy there are good ones out there

I don't understand. Are you saying that if you didn't ask the question, they would have continued trying to get in your pants?

Comare this to a woman in a committed relationsthip who initiates no flirtatious conversation, but continually fields propositions from guys. Is she not free to flirt, and if the right man comes along, to capriciously acdept his offer. You find that no less creepy?

Some guys just think that they can have their 'cake' and eat it too and not suffer the consiquences. They probably were both dawgs before they ever even meet their wives or girlfriends..

Avoid men like that and tell their wives and girlfriends about their behavior. It would be the least they deserve.

Gotta give them credit for being upfront. Most won't tell you the truth and when you find out on your own, you feel betrayed, rotten and worse.

i'm sure not every guy is like that. those guys were just players who probably don't treat their significant others very well anyway. don't worry about it, but avoid men like them.
