I ride regular tires with tubes on a full suspension bike, and I personally like mine at 40 psi. On a hardtail (front suspension only) I'd put the rear a little higher, say up to 45 psi, to help prevent pinch flats.

Tubeless tires can be run at lower pressures without pinch flats, so you may be able to put 30 psi in them. Remember, lower pressure means a larger contact patch which equals more traction.

But too low a tire pressure and the tire will roll over sideways in a turn, has more rolling resistance (you work harder) and will pinch flat if you hit something hard.

It's all personal preference, but there's my starting point.

For tires with tubes, I prefer to ride around 40 psi off-road (single-track), 45-50 psi for dirt/jeep roads, and up to 60ps on the road.

As long as you stay within the tire's pressure guidelines (typically written as something like 'inflate 40-65 psi' on the sidewall of the tire), it's a matter of personal preference. Higher pressure gives a harsher ride and reduces the tires' 'bite' when cornering but makes the tires roll a lot eaiser (faster, less energy). Lower pressure gives a softer ride, better cornering (especially off-road) but at the cost of slower rolling and higher effort for the rider.

The 3 that I have here all say 45-60 psi on the tires. I think I have them at about 50 so they have a little give to them, it's more comfortable.

At 60 psi I think it is too rock hard to soak up the little bumps. I keep mine at 40-45 psi, usually.

Depends on what kind of terrain you will be riding. I usually ride mine somewhere between 45 and 50 psi.

at least 60 psi. Rock hard to resist impacts on rough ground.
