I'm looking for software to design custom fonts for conlangs (constructed languages, like Tolkien's elvish languages, or Klingon, or Esperanto, although that one doesn't take a special font).

I'd prefer something free or cheap (wouldn't we all!), or with a free trial period--I could eventually buy something, but I'd like to make sure I'll be comfortable using it first.

try bestbuy sometimes they have one for around $5
