At this point I am sure someone will notice it needs to be treated. It becomes dangerous when you leave important tasks that need attention such as talking to your friends or actually going to the supermarket or school to answer some questions. everything in excess is detrimental and speaking for myself its possible to be addicted. Yahoo Answers is a great place to know how and what people think right over the top of their heads, and to observe behaviors as well. A psychiatrist studying human behavior would be delighted to use answers, as it provides an extent platform to research. I the mean time, keep answering and collecting points and making friends, enjoy yourself.

Yes, you would need to find an outpatient therapist that specializes in addictions. An addiction is an addiction, regardless of the vice. There are support groups that are for all types of addictions - probably an online one one right here on Yahoo .....lol.

While there are no rehabilitation centers specifically for the treatment of Yahoo! Answers, you can always go to a general rehab center, addiction center, or private therapist for treatment.

Buy a house & some land in the country with a lot of sheds on it, fix it all up as sleeping quarters & start your own rehab.

You'll make a fortune!

PS. If you actually do, I want half cos it's my idea.

PPS. Am I seeing things or is "Ouroboris" my long lost twin?

ask someone you know to block the site on your computer, using a password they made up. Have them unblock it for you for three days of the week, and then the next week two, and then the next week one. Just cut the site out of your life if it's taking control over it, it's not worth it.

Good luck!!
