John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

So Christians are worshipping the Bible: the Word of God?

But TJ, II Tim 3:16 says "All scripture is given by inspiration by God..."

Cre8ed: no, the "bible" is the Word of God.

Dhyana: but you only know of that because it is in the Bible. For a Christian, is not the fount of all holy knowledge found only in the Bible? Where else would you learn of God, Jesus, Revelations, Armageddon, etc? Is not that fount of knowledge: God?

Well, almost. Jesus is the Word of God. The Word of God is the Bible. "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of God". The Bible is closed-we can not add to it, or take away from it. We do, however get new revelation today-but, if it is contrary to the written Word, it is considered-not from God. We do not worship the Bible, we accept it as absolute truth. The Bible, for those who trust it, keeps us from error. Now I know that there are many who claim they are following God who do some pretty godless deeds. But they are phony.

nononono--also--the Bible is the Word of God--an instruction handbook-guide for mankind, written by God's prophets as transmitted to them by HIS HOLY MESSENGERS, THE ANGELS. So then, Yahweh God is the AUTHOR. It's also in the Bible(THE HOLY SCRIPTURES). You see, God's Ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts, so I am saying that the Word is also the Son of God, Jesus. True Christians Worship the TRUE GOD, CREATOR YAHWEH, MOST HOLY ANCIENT OF DAYS. Now Jesus is also called a God, but not the ALMIGHTY GOD, but MIGHTY GOD.

I held the BIBLE up in a Rest Home one time, and said, I am holding up the CREATOR of the Universe, GOD ALMIGHTY in Written Form.
They looked at me like, Yeah, and your Horse too.
Felt kinda wierd I did.
The Word of GOD is in the BIBLE, it is ALIVE by the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT, it is JESUS, in Written Form cause JESUS is the WORD.

Without the HOLY SPIRIT, that BOOK would just be Paper and Ink.
Very Good, GOD is Teaching us, and no, we Don't Worship the BIBLE, just what is written in it Empowered by the Holy Spirit, JESUS, The Word of GOD.
Ditto..........

IF that is the proper application of that scripture, then yes

But, what if......
the term "The Word" refers to the fact that Jesus was God's spokesperson to man

and what if......
the Greek word and grammar is mistranslated here, in the version you are using?

and what if.....
you have only seen some interpretations of who Jesus really is and not looked at what he actually said of his own position?

and what if....
the term word is used in 2 different contexts? one referring to the spokesman and one referring to those words that were passed from God to the spokesman to man?

I could go on......

God is His Word.

YES.

When you look into the Bible, you look into the face of God.

Especially the New Testament.

Jesus the physical manifestation of the Word.
God is His Word.
The physical manifestation of God Himself.

Christians worship Jesus Christ who is the Word of God.That means He lived all that God wanted to say to mankind. Jesus Christ was the embodiment or personification of the Word of God. Christians do not worship the word (small "w') of God, The Holy Bible, they worship Jesus Christ, the Word (capital "W") of God.
Jesus Christ Is the Only Way To Heaven!

In The Holy Bible, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. He meant “I am the only way to God the Father and to heaven”, “I am the only truth that you need to know.” and “I am the only spiritual life available to mankind.” In other words, “I am the only true and living God.”
All other so-called gods are false gods. They are not real. They do not exist. No other so-called god has the power to forgive, cleanse and remove all your sins from you to get you to heaven. They don't even claim to.
I pray you will believe this and accept the fact that you are a sinner needing to be saved from your sins (“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23, The Holy Bible.) and accept the fact that the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only way you can have your sins forgiven, cleansed and removed and is the only way you can get to heaven. I pray you will acknowledge that you are a sinner and ask Jesus Christ to forgive, cleanse and remove all you sins and accept Him into your heart/life to live for Him the rest of your life. (“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12, in the Holy Bible.) That is what it means to be born again. (“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 in The Holy Bible.) Salvation is a free gift. You cannot work for it. You cannot be good enough to earn it. You must, by faith, receive it as a free gift. (“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”) Ephesians 2:8-9.
God loves you and it is not His will that you perish in hell.
(“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” II Peter 3:9 in The Holy bible.)
This is my prayer for you
