I have a friend that I sit next to in my wood tech class...I like him a lot and he likes me too...im hanging out with him today and I am going to his hockey game tomorrow...I would really like to ask him out because I like him a lot and he's really sweet and really cool (not to mention relli hott!!) and I don't want someone else to take him before i do. so my ? is, do guys mind if girls ask them out? and if they are cool with it...how should I ask him...I would like to ask him today or tomorrow...but plz help. thanks!

Well, it seems that you have placed yourself in an interesting place. Your situation is a good reason for the saying 'it is better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all.' I would recommend you just invite him to something you know you have in common and at some point guide the conversation to the subject of significant others. When you've established that he likes girls(in case you haven't already) find out his taste in girls . when he starts describing you cheer to yourself and proceed with caution. it sounds like you 2 have a good friendship and that is always a good place to be. if he doesn't describe you, your still his friend and you can be their for him until he sees the light. I don't mind and most dont. He sounds like he wouldn't mind since he's friends w/ a girl in wood tech class. good luck

I don't think guys would mind, it would help lighten the pressurre they are feeling. Just be honest with him. Say something like: "Look I know that we've been hanging out alot lately and I think that we have alot in common. Would you be interested in going out with me?" Tell him that you think he is cool and why you think he is cool and that will help too.

P.S. Tell him something that you thought was good that he did during his hockey game will help him open up too!!

Are you kidding? I'm a guy. And I speak for all of us that we're flattered for girls asking us out. It gives us happiness and a sense of credibility. Just be calm and yourself and ask him. If he REALLY likes you. He'll be really happy.

ask him out!! My wife back when she was my gf asked me out and I loved it. It took alot of pressure off me I liked her and wanted to ask her out but didn't know how. She resolved that and now we are married all because she took the first step
