We speak Filipino (and it's not called Tagalog because Tagalog is an inhabitant of the northern part of the Philippines). It is a mixture of all the "major" dialects: Cebuano (Cebu), Ilonggo (Iloilo), Chavacano (Zamboanga) and many more to mention. Some parts of the Philippines use Spanish. We are taught at school in English. Some privileged schools are taught Chinese.

And no, we are not wild people. Some nationalities think that we wear feathers and leaves...

The Philippines' national language is Filipino. The language has 80+ dialects. Tagalog is the most popular one. Other dialects include- Ilokano,Visayan, Ilonggo, Kapampangan, Waray, etc.

Most of them tagalog and English. Don't forget htat Philipines was a US "colony" after the Spain-US war in 1898 until the invasion by Japan in WWII. In fact, Spanish is spoken by few people.
