I have been in a years long debate about the negative effects of marijuana use. MY friend challenged me to find "ANY evidence" from real scientific research that shows it is harm full in any way. I immediately remembered this forum. I could use some assistance to prove it is not good for humans to use it.

It seems that no other person can find the proof only the propaganda. I need real evidence or I am just part of an opinion and not supporting a fact.

these are just about the side effects though...im not so sure about what you mean by negative effects
if you mean "bad tripping" sorry i dont know the scientific word, that just happens psychologically. if your hungry or having a bad day or unhappy you bad trip...
but the side effects, even though most people deny it, its true marijuana does have really bad effects
i have friends who have been using for years now and most of them have ruined their lives. they are all really slow when they are speaking, have difficulty learning, have problems with short and long term memory and appear "switched off" when they have not smoked it.
i can just tell you these from personal experience as i have smoked quite a few times before and have friends who still do

Have you ever watched someone who was high on pot try to ride a horse, or a bicycle...? And would it be safe to deciminalize it so people would start driving cars while high on pot? No, they would not refrain. And keeping driving while high illegal would not be a solution.

There are already enough deaths each day due to drunk drivers and those high on illegal substances. There is no need to make pot legal and encourage the use of it, because this would lead to more highway deaths. That couldn't be prevented. It is just plainunrealistic to suggest that the number of deaths to to driving under the influence would not increase. We all have a responsibility to prevent this.

People who think they would never do anything lie that may be right, but it is the people who don't care, or think they would never do anything like that and are wrong, that are the problem.

It is just plain too dangerous. Anybody who argues otherwise does not think so; they are just displaying their own overly-optimistic short-sightedness. They are only arguing to be allowed to smoke the stuff, and not because they really believe that they could prevent the deaths-- or care. Are they not already addicted...?
