Can you take a notebook in carry-on luggage on an international flight (to germany)?

I do'nt like the idea of putting my notebook in the regular luggage!

Yes, you can but neither liquids nor powders (like in make up) are allowed.

yes u can only from england to the USA and reverse ypou can't take any liquids or solid notebook are ok just came back last week from there to china
