There are some pictures at the site listed below of cats in Greece. They look the same as American ones to me. Here's a quote from that site:
"Stray cats were everywhere. Some lingered near food sources, others were tended to by good samaritans.
All seemed well fed and healthy, if a little tinged by city dirt."

I haven't made it to Greece yet but one good reference you could base your own opinion on is a book "the complete Cats in the Sun" by Hans Silvester. It is a collection of his photos of cats living on the Greek Isles. Do your self a favor and check it out. Curiously, why does it matter any way?

Yes they do. They actually meow wiht an accent and they drin kOuzo instead of water... Of course not silly... cats are cats are cats... except the big ones like lions and such but they still act like their smaller cousins :-)
