The all powerful USA military killed more of the enemy in Vietnam than they killed of us but the USA still lost. Now tell me again how we are killing more of the enemy in Iraq than they are killing of us.

Why cry? The same is true today but to an even greater extent. The US military's kill ratio in Iraq and Afghanistan is far greater than in Vietnam. Every AlQuada or Taliban killed is an enemy that will never threaten us again. I'm currently stationed in Afghanistan we are winning the war. No matter what the newspapers and TV tell you.

It is IGNORANT kids like you that cause the problems we have today -- and you are IGNORANT.

Speaking of Vietnam -- NO war powers were authorized -- it was a POLICE ACTION ONLY -- and I mean police action. The difference between then and now is that War is declared against terrorism -- and that is the way it should be.

So get a grip on life and learn what reality is like, and respect those who are out there supporting and defending the Constitution of this great nation so idiots with warped views of the world can spout off and make ugly statements that we can LAUGH at.

We as in the US Military, have certainly killed more of you as in the chicken sh it insurgent bastards. We did not loose the war in vietnam from a military stand point. That was a political failure in which whiny polically correct people wanted us to stop. The same may happen here, but rest assured there will be no military defeat of the US.

The USA won every single major land battle in Vietnam. So, we did not "lose the war". We abandoned the objective and were hamstrung by our government's disdain for getting the job done by providing the military will all the tools necessary (and the permission to use them) to get the job done.

Lost because the South Vietnam Government gave in. Lost in Vietnam because the South Vietnamese Army lacked the moral fortitude to fight, lost in Vietnam because Nixon gave in. Now, I can't speak about Iraq, but in my last fire-fight in Afghanistan before I retired, I killed more Taliban in a stronghold than in 6 months in Vietnam....I think you misunderstand.....This is not Vietnam!

now tell me there are over close to 1,000 deaths per month right here in the US every year and the number is rising but no one especially not you or your ilk has said anything about it in a years time, just one year there are at least twice the number of these deaths as are in iraq the whole of the war.....what you going to do about that ? its deaths from alcohol related accidents....ages 15-25...every year and not to mention the number of deaths due to spousal and child abuse and the deaths due to cancer or other curable diseases.....yeah wheres your compassion now? and by the way ANY marine or army soldier has more courage, more balls and are more of man in one of their eyelashes than you could every hope to have...you are an liberal coward who'd probably sacrifice their own grandmother to save yourself and are bent on destroying this country...why not go to iraq or any third world dictator run country and see how long you'd last, you'd be pissing your pants within a week and crying for your mommy ...yeah, you're exactly the type we need in this country.

The Army and Marines are REAL men and women, not like the worthless cowards that hide behind their computer screens pretending to give a damn about the civilians, or the country. If you don't like how our country is being ran, then I suggest you stay your little yellow derrier out of the US.

What's this fascination with making US armed personnel cry ? Did the bully in your third grade class wear camoulflage ?

Look deeply into your own soul and ask why you are wishing shame and sadness on others in the name of erudition.

You insist on pinning these things on the military. They are told where to go by the government.

your asking all the wrong questions.
