For those of you who recently lost alot of weight, what was your the method of success?

Did you count calories?
Did you workout like a mad man?
Did you choose a fad diet? (Atkins, South Beach, etc.)

I lost 80 lbs. on weight watchers. I didn't workout like crazy at first, now that I lost the weight I do. Everyone is different, we all want to find the secret miracle combination but we all have a different makeup. The key to my 5 year success is a 1200 calorie diet as well as 60 min of cardio (running) 6 days a week as well as 3 full body strength training sessions. Sound like a lot....it is, it takes up 2 hours of my day, but its worth it to me. Most people can lose on eating more calories, not me! No fad diet, no surgery, just plain ole' hard work and dedication. I still need to lose 15lbs...............but I never give up

I've lost 48 pounds so far and I did it the "healthy" way through a healthy diet and exercise which is usually somewhere between 40-60 mins of kickboxing /Tae-bo 4x a week. I'm a big fan of Tae-bo it keeps me interested and I promise you if you do it and stay consistent it works. Remember to eat healthy and eat breakfast to boost your metabolism if you don't eat your metabolism slows down so don't starve yourself. I would say work out more days out of the week than you don't that's why I choose to work out 4 days a week. Fad diets don't work, don't even call it a diet think of it as a new lifestyle so you can keep the weight off. And of course sometimes you will want something not considered healthy just eat it in moderation don't go overboard and don't do it too often make eating healthy a way of life and you'll get so used to it and you won't feel right if you don't just treat yourself every now and then cause I know I do I even still drink beer in moderation and have still managed to lose weight. Just keep in mind that just because you work out doesn't mean you can eat any and everything you see diet and exercise go hand in hand trust me if you want to see results you gotta do both. And I know we all see people who manage to lose weight without exercise but you're body will look so much better and if you do you will be that much firmer and stronger who wants to lose weight only to have a loose skin and a jiggly body I suggest adding some sort of strength training to your workout also even if you only use your own body weight for resistance.

I have gone from a size 16 to a size 6 dress, 8 pants. I have kept it off for a year. I don't do fad diets, I love sugar (and am probably a sugar addict) and I didn't take pills except CLA (google it for details, it is natural and helps with burning fat). I count fat grams. I have switched from ice cream to low or fat free ice cream or fat free vanilla yogurt. I use butter or olive oil spray when cooking, no exceptions. Cheese=death to the thighs. I use only fat free cheese, though now I will have a piece of low fat mozzarella. I allow myself to splurge (in moderation) on weekends and above all couple this with exercise. This really works for me. I know people however who firmly believe in low carb. That, for me, is too hard on the kidneys and comes right back on. Everyone is different so you should consult a physician and experiment with what makes you feel the best. And remember, there will always be another meal, so you can stop when you are full.

Hi
This plan worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Good luck

My mom lost 90 lbs a few years ago by exercising for an hour every day and eating right (no more than 1500 calories a day and watching her fat intake, lots of fruits and veggies--mostly veggies, drinking 8+ glasses of water a day, that kind of thing)

STACK is my success story. I lost 30 solid pounds, using this system. For some, the price is somewhat of a deterrent, but when you consider the money you're saving, because your using STACK in place of breakfast and dinner, and the fact that IT WORKS, this system is the best. STACK has worked for 100% of the people I know who have used it.
