The most important person he needs right now is you, bcoz you're the one who sees the whole situation & the one whom he could vent his feelings to. Therefore, u must consider the great influence you had for him in his struggling moments. Just constantly reassure him of your presence, listen & at the same time pray for him daily. Ask for a divine guidance upon handling inevitable circumstances beyond your control. Pray also for the relationship, take it as a challenge that both of you could surpass. Remember these are the moments when he needs u the most. Tell him that he can cry on you, he's not just a friend, he is your partner. It's nice to pour out all those negative emotions that tends to overwhelm him, crying is therapeutic to his well-being too. It's natural to be sad, but it's nice to know there's someone who's just there to understand.

Your man is having this "mano" mentality now - that I am the man and thus I must shoulder all the pain. Can't blame him tho' cos that only shows how much he cares of you.

Constant asking is only gonna hurt him more. What is best now is for you to tell him you will be there whenever he needs you, to talk and to hold. And,before you say this, make sure you can do it cos men at this stage remembers everything very clearly.

You will just have to bring him back to the daily stuffs by behaving and doing the daily stuffs.

Painful, but you are his only guiding star now....

Good Luck!

First let him know how much you love him, and admire his strength, but tell him no one will judge him is he releases his pain and cries, let him know that crying dosent show that he is weak, but that he is a real man, not afraid to show his emotions, tell him that he does not have to carry the burden of hurt, and pain for everyone else, he is entitled to grieve for his loss, and the most important thing is that his parents splitting up is not his fault, I'm sure they both love him, just not each other. Good Luck.

Keep letting him know that you are here for him and that it is ok to cry. Its actually healthy for you to cry once in a while. Try to get him to open up. Just get him alone with you and start talking about things and pop it in there and eventually it'll happen.

You need to encourage him to let it out. Keeping it bottled up inside will only make it worse. If you really care about him, just stay there for him, because that's what he needs right now.

Just listen and be there for him...you don't have to say much at all! Just listen....if he is not talking...being quiet with your friend is ok too...quiet is good too! Just support your friend in a moral and godly manner that will either bring hope, or just a memory that you were ther for him when he needed you and that is good enough!

Tell him that by him not crying he his building all those emotions up inside himself instead of releasing them which would be healthy. They could really explode on him one day. Just be there for him in every way you can think without smothering him.

WOW! that's really sad. the thing i would do if i were in your situation would be to just let him know your there for him if he needs you. don't try to make things better cuz you could make them wurst with out knowing it. so just be there and when he wants to talk he will!
