I remember Manuel and 5 friends hired a Coyote in Mexico, they crossed the border and where in the woods, The Coyote told them to wait he"d be back in the morning to finish the journey, the guy never showed up, they were lost in the woods for 5 days eating the fruits they could find, almost died of starvation, after that, worked for a guy in Oklahoma on winter time, after Three months of abuses they decided to leave, guess what, yes, the guy refused to pay them. there is more to the story and sadness, but you get the picture, it is not easy to be an illegal, or any minority in this or any country.I can tell you more stories good and sad ones, would be here all day

A friend of my best friend met this girl and they had sex, she got pregnant, and she is here illegally. This girl has a fake social security number so that she can work. The child is now three years old and they just got married a few months ago, but this girl still hasn't done anything about "her" social security number because she doesn't want to get into trouble for having used a fake one.
Also, he is a born-again christian and of course had pre-marital sex and a child out of wedlock and was well aware of her "status" at the time. She is also pregnant again.
Funny thing is that he is a staunch "supporter" of being against illegal immigration... Go figure...

I do, a close friend, but I won't share their story out of respect for their privacy. I will tell you that this person has been here for years, is Hispanic but not Mexican (originally entered the country legally), has the kind of good job you would not expect an illegal to have, is fluent in English and pays income taxes. They can't go home because they won't be allowed back in the US. That is the hardest part for my friend.

It doesn't matter these people on here don't want to hear it. I have many friends that left from different countries and all of them pretty much the same story. It's not anything we haven't heard before. All of them are concerned for the future, and they love living here to go back to their countries would mean great dispair, and heartache. Of course they would love to go visit family and to come and go as they pleased, but being illegal stops them from that, if they were to leave there is no guarantee that they could get back.

I have had hundreds of conversations with people here illegally.
They miss home and their families and they resent being treated like animals.
The main thing they are concerned about is making enough money to support their families.
They like living here for what they can buy, but would prefer to live in their own countries if they could make enough money to support themselves and their children there.
Every illegal immigrant I have spoken to wants to go home desperately but they can't because it would be hard to get back.

Similar answer here... Illegals from Mexico are here primarily to provide for their family, not for the American dream. Not to become Americans.
Many who answered act as if it is terrible that the illegal cannot visit their family because they might not make it back.
Who is to blame for this? I hope the answer is the illegal.
Having compassion for people doesn't mean you trample on laws.

yes everyday i see them and get to talk to them, and well as anyother illegal their story is really hard cus they had to go thru many difficult thing to come here, like sell their properties so they can pay a "coyote" to get them here. or jus how many times they got busted by inmigration.
