Three. Koko (13 year old Siamese), Austin (4 year old orange domestic shorthair), & Circuit (1 year old tortishell short hair). They are so funny and each one has it's own personality. Koko is very set in his ways and I can see him being the equivilant to a wise, old man who smokes a pipe and meditates. Austin reminds me of Ralph Wiggam from the Simpsons. He's so adorable but not very bright sometimes. He's a bit OCD too because he will start crying for food not when the bowl is empty, but if he can see the bottom of the bowl through the food. Circuit is my hyperactive kid. She's always going at full speed and aspires to be a dog someday. Her best friend is my lab. They sleep together and Circuit steals food from the dog's bowl. She also want to go outside when the dog goes to potty and she learned how to sit and come when called too. Cat's are such good entertainment!

Two - Tuxedo, 4 & Rocky, 1 1/2. Tux was abandoned and adopted us, Rocky was the result of an unspayed neighbors' cat.

But if I had my way I'd probably end up as one of those crazy cat ladies with 40 cats - but they'd all be black/ black & white. I'm a sucker for a B&W kitty and especially for a cat who needs a good home. :-)

To my bewilderment I have six!!!!

All indoors, and all spoiled :)

I started out with my Katy Jane. Someone had dumped three little 4 1/2 week old kittens into my mother-in-law's drainage ditch and my late husband and I adopted the little calico.

My husband passed away of congestive heart failure and diabetes type 1 six months later.

A couple of years went by and I found myself with a fiancee who had a cat and three kittens. All rescues. The older, a patched tabby named Nina, was found wandering around the shores of a lake, and the kittens, Zoot, Murray, and Phoebe, were littermates found in a bush.

When our household got used to each other, and Katy Jane and Nina settled down, my fiancee and I adopted a calico kitten whose owners were moving, and my fiancee had reason to believe they would take the kitten out of the city and abandon the poor thing. Her name is Jasmine.

Just one... Why give Him a reason to stink up the house?

Cat's are territorial, I don't like the effects of their little competitions all over my nice things. One... is quite enough!
