Can anyone give me a store to shop online to buy my son slim pants? He is 9 years old and skinny! A 6/7 fits in the waist but short in the leg. An 8/10 is too big in the waist but fits him ok in the leg!!

I have that issue with all my kids. Try Old Navy. They have an adjustable waistband that you can shrink with an elastic pull and buttons. Its helped my kids have pants that fit in the waist and at the ankle.

My son has the exact same problem. He is 8, but needs a 6/7 waist. My other son has to have the "husky" sizes so buying jeans for either one of them has been a pain.

Believe it or not, I can usually find them both jeans at Wal-Mart. I get the slim fit with the adjustable waist straps build in. I love those things!

Both of my boys have the same problem. Adjustable waist bands are the way to go! Levi makes the best ones I think. But I have also found some at Walmart, though I forgot the brand name. If you can't find adjustable waist bands, opt for ones with elastic.

Yes, I have the same problem with my son who is between the same sizes!
I shop in the GAP, or Old Navy , they have these jeans that have an elastic band in the waist so that you can adjust as they grow. Wal-mart also has this in some of their jeans.

well unfortunately....when you have to specify...you have to spend a few dollars more. OLD NAVY is good...and GAP KIDS is good too. More and more stores are comming out with the adjustable waists...but you cant go to just WALMART for them. OLD NAVY is good you ca usually catch a good sale, GAP is a bit over the top, but if you watch carefully, you can catch a good deal too.

my son is a bit younger....3 to be exact, but he is very slim...you do what you have to do.
