Sounds like blower motor speed controler. Test light lights up on one of the blower motor wires the other is a controled ground thru the fan speed system take a short length of wire and ground the motor your self on the non hot wire a few seconds will tell you when the wire trys to melt the blower is drawing to many amps and burnt out the speed controler. At least all those parts are easy to get to right by each other

The blower motor resistor is electronic, put the fan on then go under the hood below the heater hoses and tap on the resistor, and the blower should start blowing again. Tap it with something like a big screw-driver handle. Make sure your switch is on.

If you have power and ground at the blower motor connecter and no blower speed, then it is the blower motor. If only have one or two speeds the it is the resistor block.

If it works on hi then the blower motor resiser is bad. Could also be the thermal lock out switch, it is located on the heater hose.

I agree, sounds to me as if the blower resistor is bad. It' not hard job to fix it, just need to watch want you are doing.
