The conditions are unknown, your friend should know. Has he started to serve his time. If he is at the beginning of his sentence then he may be paroled after the parole board has reviewed his sentence. He may have received an amount to serve as part of a plea, if this is the case then he will have to serve to the max out date. You should speak to a member of his family, they should be able to give you some information. He will have to have a parole address if he is going to be paroled.

The D.O.C. is only for people in prison, not jail (i.e.- county or city jail) and if is name is not coming up then he is definitely not in prison. He must be in jail. You can call the local police department that arrested, charged, and convicted him. They should be able to tell you something.

Unless your friend has an "out date",HE won't even know when he's getting out.He may have to go in front of the prison board to get out,or he may have to file for a judicial release.Anyway,HE should know if he has that outdate or not,so ask him.

They give you the Projected date on the Search for an Inmate website and give options of which state you need to search. It is very helpful and informative for everyone from family of the inmate to Victims so they can stay informed

They don't give you those dates, they're not idiots. They're a national
facility with prisoners. They aren't going to give away release dates and why would you even care?
