Eat well balanced meals, a little heavier on the protein if possible, and gradually increase portion size. Also, you should add some weight workouts. Don't worry, doing this will not "bulk you up" like a body builder, even if you were male. Since you are female, it is even less probable that weight workouts will make you look bulky like a man or those freaky women bodybuilders. However, you will want to build lean muscle when you gain weight, not add fat pounds.

I wouldn't worry about it... sounds about right for some teens. Unless your doctor is concerned about your weight, then you shouldn't be! Like you, I was pretty thin as a kid... but I have to tell you as you age the pounds will come. I weighed 120 pounds when I graduated from high school... I weighed 155 pounds after I graduated from college... and now I weigh 180 pounds at the age of 47.

Eat pasta... trust me. Don't eat junk food thinking that will gain you weight.
Just regular spagetti with meatballs.
