LOL Probably because panties are starting to cost a fortune, so to prevent any "accidents" that will affect your investment, they are bringing back the sanitary belt.
Just an opinion... but maybe they do not realize that is when we pull out the granny panties.
LMFAO

Are you sure you are seeing sanitary belts?
I think you are seeing garter belts - not at all the same thing.
Having "been there, done that" with those items, I can't understand why those would be coming back - in a comfort sense. On the other hand, there is a certain aura about garter belts and real stockings as opposed to pantyhose.

A belt attached to a pad hmmm, sounds nasty. I had a surgery last year that stopped my periods for good! Now I can really experience what it feels like to be a free woman without all the feminine attachments, so can my man.

They're hoping that most of the menstruating women of today won't remember how utterly horrible belts were... But I remember, and I won't use one on a bet. I don't care how lacy and frilly they are. They suck. I use a menstrual cup and it's the best thing I've ever used!!
If you are gonna keep asking, I'll keep answering.
